What contact types are available for filtering my contacts?

You can filter your people and companies in a number of ways to focus on specific audiences as needed.

New Design

The new design greatly expands Cloze's filtering options and combines Audiences with filtering so any filtered view can be saved. You can enable the new Cloze design in Settings.

Highlights of the new filtering:

  • One place to filter the view and create audiences
  • Relative date filtering (e.g. lease expiration in the next two months)
  • Date ranges (e.g. purchase anniversary between January 1, 2019 and December 31, 2019)
  • Sort direction
  • Save any filtered view as a new audience.

Tap on the funnel icon at the top of the People screen next to the search box to filter your contacts.

You can filter by Stage, Segment, Custom Field, Tags, contact information, important dates, custom fields, and more.

Tip: The checkmark (✓) adds a filter and the X removes a filter.

  1. ✓ - Adds a filter
  2. X - Removes a filter

1.) Tap on the funnel icon.

To create an audience you will first tap on the funnel icon and filter the People section as needed.

Tip: Any filtered view you create can be saved as a new Audience.

2.) Use the various sorting and filter options.

Sorting

Best Relationship, First Met, Last Interacted, They Last Engaged, Due Next, and more

Quick Filters

With a quick filter, you can set the Stages, Segments, and Tags. Quick filters narrow the results based on each item you select. For example, if you select Hot Seller and the tag #sphere-of-influence only people with the Hot Stage AND the Seller Segment AND the tag #sphere-of-influence are returned in the results. If you only enter the tag Sphere of Influence, only contacts with this tag are returned.

  1. Stage
  2. Tap on the + next to Segment
  3. Select the Segment
  4. Tag

Stage:

Segment:

Tag:

You may enter one or more tags to filter the audience.

By adding tags the results returned will include people that have all of the tags. For example, if you add #sphere-of-influence and #past-client, only people with both of these tags are returned.

Must Match All of These

Each selection you make in this filter narrows your results to only people who have all of the values.

Think of this as: " AND". For example, if you select the Stage Warm and the Segment Buyer and the lead source as Open House as filters, the results will only show people that have the Warm Stage, and the Buyer Segment and the lead source, Open House. All three criteria must be included to be returned in the filter results.

  • About - First Name, Last Name, Birthday, Language, and more
  • Relationship and Tags - Stage, Segment, Tags, and more
  • Communication and Campaigns - First Met, Running Campaigns, and more
  • Contact Type - Organized, Discovered, and more

And Match Any of These

Each selection you make in this filter widens your results to people who have any of the values.

  • About - First Name, Last Name, Birthday, Language, and more
  • Relationship and Tags - Stage, Segment, Tags, and more

And Match None of These
