How I do adjust the primary Deal or Project stages?

Cloze allows you to include or exclude an Active deal stage for Deals (or Projects/Properties/Jobs).

There are two options. You can track deals...

  1. only until they are won or lost, or
  2. until they are done (any delivery or services are completed)

1.) Tap on More (...) in the lower right of your screen on mobile (iOS/Android) and lower left on cloze.com.

2.) Tap on Settings.

3.) Scroll down to the Customizations section and tap on Projects (or Deals or Sales or your custom label) to expand the section.

4.) Scroll down to the Deal (or Project) Stages section and tap on the dropdown to set your Stages.

If your D eals (or Projects or include an Active stage after being won (delivery, services, subscription, etc.) you can adjust your settings.

Cloze provides four options you can set:

  1. No Active Stage
  2. Yes, but it's tracked outside Cloze
  3. Yes, and I will track it in Cloze
  4. Yes, I use Active and Pending stages

These options will also determine how the Stages for the Customers/Clients involved in the detail are set when you mark the Project/Deal as "Won or Lost" or "Active or Done".

  1. Potential → Won/Lost (Only track until Won/Lost)
    • When the Project or Deal is Won the clients involved in the Project are set to the Inactive Stage.
    • When the Project or Deal is set to Lost the clients involved in the Project are set to the Lost Stage.
  2. Potential → Won/Lost (People Won at set to the Active Stage) Track outside of Cloze
    • When the Project or Deal is Won the clients involved in the Project are set to the Active Stage.
    • When the Project or Deal is set to Lost the clients involved in the Project are set to the Lost Stage.
  3. Potential → Active → Done/Lost (Track until delivery/service is Done in Cloze)
    • When the Project or Deal becomes Active the clients involved in the Project are set to the Active Stage
    • When the Project or Deal is set to Done the clients involved in the Project are set to the Inactive Stage
  4. Potential → Active → Pending → Closed/Lost (The property is done when Active and Pending Stages are done)
    • When the Property becomes Pending or Active the clients involved in the Property are set to the Active Stage
    • When the Property is set to Done the clients involved in the Property are set to the Past (or Closed) Stage

Adjust the Active Stage settings as needed.

Then when you view or create a new Deal (or Project) you will see your new Stage options.
