How do I set a custom field to appear in a specific Segment?

Custom Fields can appear in one or multiple Segments. This article explains how you can set a custom field to appear for one, multiple, or all segments.

When creating or editing a Custom Field, you may select specific Segments to ensure your fields are only displayed where they are needed.

1.) Tap on the More Options menu (...) and then select Settings. 

Mobile: 
  1. Tap on More in the lower right of your screen on mobile (iOS/Android).
  2. Select Settings.

On your computer: 
  1. Tap on More in the lower left of your computer (cloze.com).
  2. Select Settings.

2.) Scroll down to the Customizations section and tap on Custom Fields to expand the section. 

You can create and edit Custom Fields for People, Companies, and Properties (or Projects, Deals, Sales, etc).


3.) Tap on the gear icon next to the section where you wish to add or edit Custom Fields. 

4.) To add or edit:

  1. To add a new custom field, tap on the Add button.
  2. To edit an existing field, tap on the gear icon next to an existing custom field.

5.) Scroll down to Segments:

  1. Tap on the funnel icon.
  2. Select or deselect the Segments you want the custom field to appear for.
  3. Tap on "OK" to save your changes.

If you would like your custom field to appear for all segments, select "All Segments"

6.) Tap on "Save" when you are done.
