How do I add a Range Custom Field?
Use a range field to set an upper and lower limit based on the value set in another field.
Here are step-by-step instructions on how to create a Range custom field.
With this type of field you can define upper and lower range limits based on a related field.
Once created you will see a range slider that you can then use to select a numeric value within a given range (minimum and maximum values).
In this example we are creating a field called Price Range. The Price Range field has the following upper and lower limits:
- $100k
- $10M
The Price Range field will be derived from another field called Price.
A range field can also be used in conjunction with our matching engine.
For example if the Price Range field is set with an upper limit of $1.3M for a person it will return matches for all Properties (Listings or Deals) where the Price field is set to $1.3M or less.
