How do I make contact fields visible on a person's profile?
Cloze includes several standard Custom Fields that you can enable. Included among these default fields are contact fields like birthday or locale can be added like other custom fields.
Adding contact fields can be especially helpful when you would like to quickly glance at a profile to see these details. This type of field is mirrored so any change you make will update both locations.
Contact fields that can be added as mirrored Custom Fields include:
- Birthday - The person's birthday.
- Country - The country in which this person resides.
- Formality - Whether this person should be greeted formally or not.
- Gender - Grammatical gender for greeting the person.
- Locale (formatting) - Language and culture of this person.
In the example below, the contact fields. birthday, locale, and formality are visible in the details section.
Add contact profile fields
Here are step-by-step instructions on how to enable a default Custom Field.
1.) Tap on More (...) in the lower right of your screen on mobile (iOS/Android) and lower left on cloze.com.
2.) Tap on Settings
3.) Scroll down to the Customizations section and tap on Custom Fields to expand the section.
4.) Tap on the gear icon next to the section where you wish to add Custom Fields. You can create and edit Custom Fields for People, Companies, and Projects (or Deals, Cases, Sales etc...)
5.) Along the top of the screen tap on the Add button and then in the Standard section select the default Custom Field you wish to use.
