How do I enable the kanban view to group by a custom field?

Cloze includes several types of Custom Fields that you can use to customize your Cloze account. By default, the Kanban view of People, Companies, and Deals (Properties/Projects/Sales etc) is grouped by Stage. You can then tap on the funnel icon to further filter this view in a number of ways. 

If you have a specific custom field by which you wish to group people or Companies or Deals (or Properties/Projects/Sales etc..) you can enable this in the settings for each custom field.

In the example below, the custom field called "Lead Source" has been enabled as a Group By option.

In this example, properties are grouped by floor.

How to enable "Allow Kanban to group by this" on a Custom Field

Here are step-by-step instructions on how to enable "Allow Kanban to group by this" on Custom Field. 

1.) Tap on More (...) in the lower right of your screen on mobile (iOS/Android) and lower left on cloze.com. 

2.) Tap on Settings

3.) Scroll down to the Customizations section and tap on Custom Fields to expand the section. 

4.) Tap on the gear icon next to the section where you wish to add Custom Fields. You can create and edit Custom Fields for People, Companies, and Deals (or Properties, Projects, Cases, Sales etc...).

5.) Tap on the gear next to the field you wish to edit.  

6.) Next to Filtering, enable "Always show when filtering". 

7.) After toggling on "Always show when filtering", the Group By option will be displayed. Toggle on "Allow Kanban to group by this".

Once enabled you will see the custom field (in this example "Lead Source") as a new option to Group By.
