How do I create a private custom field?
When creating a new custom field, you can indicate if the value is private to the user.
- Tap More (...)
- Tap on Settings
2.) Under Settings, scroll down to Custom Fields and tap on the gear icon next to one of the categories you are editing.
3.) Add or Edit
a. If you are editing an existing custom field, tap on the gear icon next to the existing field.
b. If you are adding a new field, tap on Add and then select Field.
4.) When setting up a new field or editing a new field, you will see the option for Private. Toggling this on will set the field as private.
5.) Make any other changes needed and then tap on Save.
When looking at the section in a contact profile, you will see the custom field and there will be a lock icon next to the field. This indicates the field is private.
