How do I connect ChatGPT to Cloze?

Cloze is now an official ChatGPT plugin. Install it once, and ChatGPT can look up clients, log notes, set follow-ups, draft emails, and create listing marketing — using your own Cloze records.

Before you start

To connect ChatGPT to Cloze, you'll need:

• A ChatGPT account on any plan, including Free
• A Cloze Business Platinum subscription or trial

Install the Cloze plugin

1. In ChatGPT, click Plugins in the left sidebar.
2. Search for Cloze and open the Cloze plugin. Or go straight to the Cloze plugin page.
3. Click Install plugin.
4. Sign in to Cloze and approve the connection.

ChatGPT Business, Enterprise, and Edu: Plugins are enabled by default in Business workspaces. In Enterprise and Edu workspaces, an admin may need to make the Cloze plugin available first.

Use Cloze in ChatGPT

Start a new conversation and type @Cloze, or select + and choose Cloze. ChatGPT will also use Cloze automatically when it's relevant to your request. For example:

• “Summarize what I know about Jared Kim.”
• “Find everyone in Cloze tagged as Past Client that I haven't communicated with recently.”
• “Add Sarah Johnson to my contacts. Her email is sarah.johnson@example.org.”
• “Remind me to call Brenda Lee next Friday at 2 p.m.”
• “Create a Canva flyer for the Oakwood Heights property.”
• “Send 124 Oak Street to Cloud CMA. I need a listing presentation.”
• “Draft an email to Jane McKittrick introducing me as a local real estate agent.”

ChatGPT may ask you to confirm before it makes a change in Cloze.

What can ChatGPT do with Cloze?

Depending on the tools enabled for your account, ChatGPT can help you:

• Look up contacts and deals, or find past clients you haven't talked to in a while
• Summarize a client's notes, communication history, and activity before a call or meeting
• Add contacts, notes, and to-dos, and update tags, stages, and contact details
• Draft personal follow-up emails, saved to your Cloze drafts so you can review and send them
• Create Canva flyers and social posts pre-filled with your listing details and branding
• Create a listing presentation with Cloud CMA, or send a property or client to HomeSpotter or RealScout
• Access information about your profile and business

You'll only see the records your own Cloze account can access, and personal contacts stay private to each agent.

Advanced: connect with a custom MCP app

If your workspace can't use the Cloze plugin, an admin can connect Cloze as a custom MCP app instead. In ChatGPT workspace settings, go to Apps, enable Developer Mode, and create an app with:

• Connection: https://api.cloze.com/v1/mcp   
• Authentication: OAuth

Then publish the app to your workspace.
