How do I create a mandatory field?

In some cases, you may want to make a specific field for a person, company, or deal / project mandatory.  This can be helpful if you want to ensure that you have specific, standardized information for every person, company or deal / project entered into Cloze.

Navigate to the custom field section in your settings:

Toggle mandatory field on:

When you add a new contact, company, or deal / project with this custom field enabled, you will be reminded to add a value in the field:

Once you update the field, the value will be displayed:
