How do I troubleshoot macOS firewall issues?
If your iPhone does not connect to the Cloze Call and Text Sync app via Wi-Fi, your firewall may be interfering. Below are instructions on how to troubleshoot macOS firewall issues. If you have a Windows computer please check here.
Firewall settings are found in the Security & Privacy section of System Preferences.
If your firewall is off, there is no further action to take.
If the Firewall is on, click on Firewall Options...
Make sure Automatically allow downloaded signed software to receive incoming connections is enabled.
If you do not wish to allow signed software to receive incoming connections, you will need to add the Cloze Call and Text Sync app to the whitelist. Please see below:
