How do I add Milestones to my Next Steps?

With Next Steps, you can add ordered milestones with unordered tasks underneath each milestone. Milestones are available in search filters.

For tasks beneath milestones, you can mark them done in any order (including skipping ahead to other milestones or backwards). But, when you mark a milestone done, it automatically progresses to the next milestone.

When you attempt to mark a milestone off, if not all tasks have been completed it will ask if you want to mark them done (there is no requirement that all tasks be done in order for a milestone to be done):

This message will appear if you have not completed all tasks beneath a milestone.

If all tasks associated with a milestone are complete and the milestone itself is complete, the milestone collapses:

If all tasks associated with a milestone are complete, the milestone will collapse.

To go back to the last milestone, tap on it to uncheck it. However, if a milestone is complete and not all tasks are complete the milestone is expanded:

Tap on the last milestone to to go back to it.

If you mark the last milestone of a stage done, and the next stage has milestones, it automatically advances to the next stage.
