How do I track next steps with my relationships?
With Cloze you can also add Next Steps to help you keep track of what you've done and what you have left to do for each type of relationship. Each Stage and Segment combination can have its own set of Next Steps.
Think of Next Steps as a repeatable checklist that you can write once and reuse for each Relationship Type. Next Steps are an extension of the higher level Stages—they should mirror your workflow and all of the things you need to get done to move to the next Stage.
For example, for your active clients, you might have specific steps you walkthrough for each engagement - you can track these steps with Cloze. Or in sales, you might follow a specific sales process with different stages. These stages can all be tracked with Next Steps. You can choose what your next step is and, when it's done, mark it off.
Next Steps can be added to each Relationship Segment and customized for Lead, Potential, Active, Inactive (Past), and Lost Stages. When a Next Step comes due you will see an Action Item to follow up.

Tip: Cloze has two Styles of Next Steps
- With a Process, as you mark steps done, you automatically advance to the next step.
- With a Task List, you can mark steps done in any order, but you need to manually pick which step is the next step.
5.) Enter the name of your step. Repeat steps 4 and 5 until you have added all your steps.
6.) Tap on the gear icon to edit the Step name and add a reminder.
7.) Cloze can remind you about each Next Step. You can set both a reminder time and a custom template.
In this example, you would be reminded 5 days after your "Introduction Call" step was set.
NEW! Cloze supports several template types.
You can create several types of Next Step templates:
When a Next Step is set, you will see the reminder and follow-up template available in the contact profile as an Action Item. Tap on the envelope icon to view the specific email you have created for this Next Step.
