How do I import a Canva-designed (HTML) email into Cloze?

With Canva, you can design beautiful, on-brand emails in minutes and import them directly into Cloze to send through your Cloze email tools. Simply send yourself a test email from Canva, then use Cloze’s import feature to bring it in from that test message—ready to personalize and send.


1.) Create your email design in Canva and send a test to yourself.

  3. Verify that your Canva email address in the "to" field is one that is connected to your Cloze account.
  4. Tap on the "Send test email" button.

2.) Navigate to the Cloze inbox and select the Canva email.

  3. Tap on the Canva email.

3.) Tap on the template icon to import the Canva email into Cloze.

4.) Add footers to the bottom of the template.

  1. Tap on the checkmark next each footer you wish to add.
  2. Tap on the Next Button.

5.) Save the Canva email to the Cloze Library or send it as an email via Cloze.

6.) Make refinements and save the template to the Cloze Library.

The imported email can be edited. You can edit things like the header, text, images, etc or add blocks or blueprints to add more content to the template.

  1. Name the template (not visible to the recipient).
  2. Set the library category.
  3. Optional: Add tags.
  4. Make changes to the email subject.
  5. Tap on the Review button to preview and save the template to Cloze.
