How do I use a Canva design in Cloze?
Note: Please make sure your Canva Enterprise account is connected to Cloze.
There are two primary ways to use Canva designs in Cloze.
- Add any Canva design directly into a Cloze marketing email
- Start with a Canva design in Cloze to create a new marketing email
Add Canva designs directly into Cloze Marketing email designs
1.) Start in the Cloze Library and navigate to any template you wish to add Canva designs to.
- Start in the Cloze Library
- Select a template.
- Tap on Edit
2.) Tap on External content to expand the section.
3.) Drag (or tap) on Canva Enterprise and select the Canva design you wish to add.
- Drag (or tap) on Canva Enterprise
- Select the location of the Canva design.
4.) Select the Canva design to insert into the Cloze template.
5.) The Canva design will be inserted into the template.

Turn a Canva design into a Cloze template
1.) Start in the Cloze Library and switch to the Canva Enterprise Library.
- Start in the Cloze Library
- Tap All Libraries
- Select Canva Enterprise
2.) Select the Canva design you wish to use in a Cloze marketing email.
- Search for a specific Canva design
- Tap on Recent to see your most recent Canva designs
- Select the Canva design you want to use in a Cloze marketing email
3.) Turn the Canva design into a Cloze template.
4.) Finish your template and save it to your library.
Cloze will import the Canva design as a starting point to your Cloze marketing email template. You can then finish your design by adding more content and saving it to your library.
- Name: Enter the name of your template. This can be an internal name - recipients will not see this name.
- Catatory: Select the category of your template (i.e., the folder you wish to save the template into.)
- Tags: Optionally add tags to help you find the template in the future.
- Email Subject: Enter the email subject of your template that recipients will see when you use the template.
- Preview: Enter the preview text. Recipients will see this text before they open the email, so a short summary or key details are useful here.
- Add pre-built content: Drag and drop pre-built content you have previously created or your marketing team has previously created.
- Use the design options to add other content: Cloze offers many layouts, styles, and design options to complete your template.
- Save your template: Tap on Review to preview your template and save it to the library of your choice.
