HTML Signature Option

Use this option when you want to use a horizontal layout and basic formatting like:

• Bold
• Italic
• Text
• Color
• Font
• Font size
• Bullets / Numbers
• Links
• Image - if you would like an image to the left or right of your name please use the Designer option above. Images should be pre-sized before inserting into Cloze. 
• Custom HTML - you have another tool that created your signature and would like to paste the HTML from it into Cloze. 

A few notes about how HTML signatures (not Designer signatures) work in Cloze:

• Images are attached in the email, not linked from another website. The benefit to you is that your signature images will show in almost all email clients even when images are turned off.  
• Cloze limits each image in the signature to at most 100k. To ensure optimal viewing, your signature images are scaled down to at most 580px wide. This means that recipients will see your entire signature image. 
• On mobile devices, we make sure images are never wider than the mobile device (we limit its width to 100% of the device). This means recipients generally will not have horizontal scrolling or images that hang off the edge.

1.) Tap on the More Options menu (...) and then select Settings. 

1. Tap on More in the lower left on your computer (cloze.com). 
2. Select Settings. 

2.) Tap on Mail Settings to expand the section and then you can go straight to creating your signature or you can customize your greeting first.

3.) Tap on the dropdown to select the account you wish to customize.

You have two options when creating or editing your signature:

1. Default - Set a default signature that is applied to all of your email accounts
2. Customize per email account  - select each email account to set a custom signature

Edit Your From Name and Greeting

If you choose to customize the signature for a specific email account you can also set the From Name and Greeting that will be used with this email account. Please follow the step-by-step instructions below if you wish to customize either. 

• Customize the From Name (by default set to the name used in your Cloze profile)

4.) Create your signature.
