Offline Mode for the Cloze Open House App
Note: The Cloze Open House App is available on the Cloze Enterprise plan. This feature is in Beta.
If your open house is in an area with poor cell service or no Wi-Fi, you can still use Kiosk Mode with Offline Mode.
Offline Mode is only available in Kiosk Mode. Self Service Check-In requires an internet connection because buyers use their own device to access the check-in page.
Before the open house
Before you lose internet or cell coverage:
- Open the Kiosk Mode check-in page in your browser at least once.
- (Recommended) Put your device into Airplane Mode to prevent connection issues while checking people in.
As buyers check in, their information will be stored locally on the device until you reconnect to the internet.
After you regain coverage
- Turn Airplane Mode off or reconnect to Wi-Fi/cell service.
- The app may automatically begin syncing check-ins.
- If it does not sync automatically, tap the Offline Mode link to manually start syncing.
Depending on the number of check-ins and your connection speed, syncing may take a few minutes. Once you reconnect to the internet, keep the app open until all records have finished syncing.
