How do I customize my homepage? (Launchpad)
Many brokerages want to give agents one place to start their day: a single home screen with the tools, links, templates, and reports they use most. In Cloze, that place is the Launchpad.
What is the Launchpad?
The Launchpad is a customizable homepage inside Cloze. Your team admin sets it up once and shares it with the whole team or with specific subteams. Agents then open Cloze and find everything in one spot, with no need to bookmark a dozen sites or dig through emails for links.
You can add four types of widgets:
- Templates - Marketing email templates from your template library, embedded right on the homepage. This might be a list of upcoming events, a picture of the day, etc.
- Tiles - Icons that open other Cloze features or outside websites, like the app icons on your phone's home screen. They work well for linking agents to your transaction management system, training portal, or company resources.
- Analytics Chart - Charts from select Cloze analytics reports, so agents can see their activity at a glance.
- External Website - A third-party web page shown inside the Launchpad. (Only some websites allow this.)
Can I brand it?
Yes. The Launchpad can carry your brokerage's branding:
- A custom label, such as your brokerage name
- Your logo, shown next to the label (recommended size: 33 × 33 px)
Who controls what agents see?
- Team admins can build a Launchpad and save it for the whole team or for a subteam.
- Agents can personalize their own Launchpad, but they can't change the items your team has added.
Note: Once the Launchpad feature has been enabled, we recommend setting up/configuring the Launchpad in the team admin account first and then enabling for the rest of the team after.
Setup Launchpad:
- When first enabled, the launchpad will be blank:

- Tap on the LaunchPad edit button next to the compose button.

- You'll see the options for custom branding:
- A label for the LaunchPad
- An image/logo to show beside the label
- Image/Logo recommended size: 33px x 33px

In the screenshot near the top of the page you can see the "Wellesley Realty" label (a) and "WR" custom logo (b) branding.

- Tap Pick to select widgets.

You can add four types of widgets:
- Templates - These are special marketing mail templates from the template library which can be embedded directly in the launchpad.
- Tiles - These are a set of icons that can bring up other functionality or websites. Basically like the home screen icons on your phone.
- Analytics Chart - Individual charts from some analytics reports (not all currently) can be embedded right in the launchpad.
- External Website - You can add a 3rd party website as a frame into the LaunchPad. Note that only a small number of websites allow themselves to be framed.
Each widget has:
- Widget Name (Title - appears above the widget)
- Unique Id (like custom fields, widgets have unique IDs)
- Width (number of columns the widget should fill)
- The launchpad is at most 4 columns wide, and each column must be at least 300px wide. If the screen is narrower, columns are removed.

After adding widgets, you can drag to reorder them. This sets up the basic layout for the launchpad - though we use a "masonry packing" approach to show as many widgets as possible in as small a space as possible.

Saving the Launchpad
If you have the rights, you can save the LaunchPad configuration to different places (your own account, your private subteam, or the overall team).
Most users will not see this option - their launchpad will just save for their account. For users without permissions to edit for the team/subteam, they can customize their personal launchpad, but items from the team can't be edited.
