How do I exclude contacts with Stages or Segments from my search?
You can exclude contacts previously classified with Stages or Segments from your search.
Filter
You can use the filter option to quickly find people that have no Segment set.
Search
Cloze offers several ways to search by excluding a Stage or Segment. On the People section type in the search box:
Exclude contacts that are categorized by all Stages or Segments:
- not in any Segment - this will show you everyone that is not in a Segment (customer, client, partner, investor, etc.)
- not in any stage - this will show you everyone that is not in any Stage (Lead, active, potential, inactive, lost)
- not in any stage and segment - this will show you all of your "other" contacts that are not classified (no Stage or Segment is set)
- #retailer and not in any stage and not in any segment - this example will show people with the tag "retailer" that are not classified with a Stage or Segment
Exclude contacts that are categorized by specific Stages or Segments:
- not in customers (or clients or other Segment) - this will show you everyone that is not marked as a Customer
- not in customers, partners and investors - this will show you everyone that is not a customer, partner or investor.
- not in potential - this will show you everyone that is not set Potential Stage
- not in active - this will show you everyone that is not set with the Active Stage
- not in active and potential - this will show everyone that is not marked as active or marked potential
- stage is customer and segment is not active - this will show you all customers that are not classified with an Active Stage
