What is the create person option in the Cloze Inbox?

Cloze will only create contacts automatically for real people - so you won't see contacts automatically created for newsletters, social updates, mass marketing emails or for email accounts that are generic like "support@company.com" or "sales@company.com".

Override the bulk classification and create a person

However, if you do want to create a contact for one of these types of email accounts, you can use the "create person" option to create a Cloze contact from the bulk sender. This can be helpful if you have a contact that uses a generic email address as their personal or work email.

In this example, agentedge@inman.com is a bulk address and therefore a person has not been created in Cloze automatically. 

This can be overridden to create a person in Cloze and include email from this email address in the Focused view. 

Tap on the contact profile picture or icon, and then tap on Create person.
