What causes a campaign to stop?
The Cloze Campaigns feature is included as part of the Cloze Business Platinum Plan.
Campaigns can stop because of a number of reasons.
The Campaign says it should:
- The last step finishes and there is no “repeat” at the end
- There is an explicit “stop” step
- The campaign is set to stop if the client replies or books a meeting
The contact has a big change:
- The contact’s Stage, Segment, or Next Step is changed
- The contact is reassigned away from you
Always End Campaign
Campaigns can end automatically based on specific criteria like if a contact replies or a meeting is booked in the future. Because Cloze can automatically track email, calls, texts, and meetings the Campaign get smartly stop when a person engages with you. Here are the options you can enable:
- If Contact Replies
- If a Future Meeting is Booked
- If Assigned to Someone Else (only applies to manually started Campaigns or lead capture Campaigns. All campaigns only run when assigned to you).
- If the Relationship Changes
- If Do Not Contact is Set

If the Relationship Changes Option
If you choose If the Relationship Changes, you can choose from one of 5 options:

- Stop - Stop if segment, stage, or step changes for the contact, or if the contact is unassigned from you.
- Stage - Stop if segment, or stage changes for the contact, or if the contact is unassigned from you.
- Segment - Stop if segment changes for the contact, or if the contact is unassigned from you.
- Unassigned - Stop if the contact is unassigned from you.
- Ignore - Never stop
If the Contact Replies or If a Future Meeting is Booked Options
If you choose If Contact Replies or If a Future Meeting is Booked, you have the option to receive alerts. If you have not selected either of those choices, the alert options will be grayed out.

Campaign Restart
If the campaign is stopped due to any of the Always End Campaign reasons and then it is restarted, the campaign will resume from where it left off.
If a campaign is manually stopped, it will not restart from where it left off.
An example of why a campaign could stop is if there was a reply but that reply didn't warrant stopping the campaign.
