How do I trigger a campaign based on a stage?

Stage campaigns let you run a campaign while the contact is in the stage. 


Note: Triggering a campaign based on a stage will run for contacts in that stage at any time. Once the campaign finishes, it will not run again while the contact remains in that stage. (This means that if you create a Closed Buyer campaign, it will run for any closed buyers in your Cloze account, not just recently closed buyers.)


For shared contacts, the campaign will only run for the assignee.


Note: Before adding a trigger to a campaign, create your campaign first.


To link a campaign to a stage, the stage campaign needs to be enabled for the specific Stage and Segment.


1.) Tap on More and then tap on Settings.

2.) Under Customizations, tap on People and Companies to expand the menu. Then tap on the cog wheel next to the segment you want to enable stage campaigns for.

3.) Scroll down to the bottom of the settings for that segment. Under Stage campaigns, toggle ON the stages you want to connect campaigns to.

4.) Return to the template library and select your campaign. Tap on the chain link icon to set up the trigger.

5.) Tap on Stage Change and then toggle on the Stage/Segment you are linking this campaign to. Then tap on Save.

After saving, you will see Stage Campaigns appear under Assists and Automations.
