Branch by Missing Fields
This step allows a campaign to test for missing information. This can be useful to avoid sending emails with missing information or to alert you that there is missing information for contacts, properties, etc.
You can choose to add explicit branches to handle cases where various information is missing - both general information and custom fields.
When setting up the campaign, you select a set of criteria to use for branching, the branches act like any other campaign branch (the first one to match is the path the campaign goes down):
In the campaign example below, before sending out an email for a property, the campaign will check to make sure that all information is present in the property record.
- When setting up your campaign, tap on the + icon, tap on Branch, and then tap on Branch by Missing Fields.
- Choose the criteria the campaign will check. On the right side menu, tap on the drop down next to Fields. Tap on the criteria the campaign should be checking for and then tap on OK.
3. For each branch (selected criteria), set the action that should happen if the specific criteria is missing. Tap on the + icon beneath each branch and choose an action(s).
