How do I find people that I last talked to in a specific year?

You can find all of the people that you last talked to in a specific year by using a natural language search in the People section of Cloze. 

Enter in the search box along the top of the People section:

Last talked in 2018

This will show all of the people with whom you last spoke in 2018. The search results will include people that you have not had any communication with since 2018 (across phone, text, calendar meetings, and email). 

You can then easily select the contacts and send a Mail Merge email or create postal labels to rekindle the relationship.
