How do I create an audience based on people I want to get to know?
The Cloze Get to Know Campaign feature is included as part of the Cloze Business Platinum Plus Plan.
When it comes to building relationships with new people the best method is to take a more personalized approach rather than simply adding them to a generic campaign or a monthly newsletter. If we add a new contact to our newsletter or send other generic content, our opt-out and spam rates are high, and our engagement is low because the content is unexpected—simply put it is spam.
Cloze can help you automate the process of engaging with new people that you'd like to get to know, but in a manner that feels authentic.
To help you better target them with the right type of campaign, Cloze's AI can detect if you have an established relationship with a person (or if you don't). For example, using a Cloze Audience you can split your contacts based on whether you have an established relationship or not:
- Nurture Audience - people with whom you have established a relationship
- Get To Know Audience - people with whom you have not yet established a relationship
Below are instructions on how you can create a custom Audience that includes only people with whom you have not yet established a relationship.
Creating a Custom, "Get To Know" Audience
- Tap on the People tab.
- Tap on the funnel icon.
- Tap on And Match None of These to expand the options.
- Tap on Contact Type.
- Tap on Established Relationship.
- Tap on Yes. (Under the Match None of These filter, you are excluding contacts that you have an Established Relationship with.)
- Tap on the checkmark in the upper left to save the filter.
- Apply any other filters for contacts you wish to include or exclude. Remember, Audiences are dynamic so as you add or remove any criteria they will adjust automatically. Then, scroll down and tap on Audience to expand the options.
- Name your audience.
- Tap on Save as New Audience.
You now have a new, Get To Know Audience.
