How do I sort by date fields?
Note: Please enable the new design to sort by date fields like purchase anniversaries, sale anniversaries, lease expirations, or any other date-based field. Tap on More > Settings > Display and Layout > Enable New Design Theme and Unified Filtering.
When you sort by a date-based field, Cloze also filters the list to show only people with a date set for that field. The results are then sorted by the date closest to today.
1.) Tap on the funnel icon and then tap on the Sort By menu.
- Tap on the funnel icon.
- Tap on the Sort By. menu
2.) Scroll down and select the date field by which you wish to sort and filter.
- Scroll down the menu until you see the date fields.
- Tap on a checkmark to select the date field.
Tip: There are two options you can select from for date fields:
- Anniversary (day+month ignoring year) - helpful if you simply want to sort by upcoming anniversaries — (e.g. a wedding anniversary or real estate review)
- Exact date - helpful if you want to know the exact year something occurred, like a home purchase.
3.) Tap on the back arrow to see the results or set additional filters.
4.) You can select other filters or tap on the checkmark to see the results.
- Tap on the checkmark to see the filtered and sorted list of people.
- Or tap anywhere in the background to see the filtered and sorted list of people.
Tip: As you sort or filter, Cloze is updating the results, so you can tap anywhere on the screen outside the Sort and Filter menu to see the filtered list of people.
