Cloze and Google Workspace Overview
Cloze supports both Personal (free) and Business (paid) versions of Google Workspace. When you connect your Google Workspace account to Cloze several Google services are connected simultaneously.
Gmail
- You can send, receive, and reply to Gmail emails from Cloze. Or if you would like you can use your own email app -- in either case, Cloze will automatically keep track of your email conversations for you.
- Cloze includes many business-grade email features including email open tracking, templates, automated follow-up, mail merge, A.I. reminders, Ghostwriter (our generative AI feature), and more.
- You can connect as many Gmail accounts as you would like to Cloze.
- Cloze supports email aliases.
Google Contacts
- Cloze syncs your Google contacts into Cloze.
- Optionally, you can sync contacts from Cloze back to Google
- When you connect your Google account, the labels you have organized your Google Contacts with will sync into Cloze as tags. Learn more about Google Labels syncing to Cloze.
Google Calendar
- Syncs your Google Calendar meetings to Cloze.
- With your calendar connected to Cloze, every meeting is automatically logged to the timeline of the attendees and you'll see your meetings on the Cloze Agenda.
- Cloze automatically creates a briefing view for every meeting
Google Tasks
- With Google Tasks connected, you can set tasks in Google and they will sync onto the Cloze Agenda.
- Tasks are bidirectional so if you reschedule or mark Google Task as done in Cloze it will be updated in Google Tasks automatically and vice versa.
Google Drive
- With your Google Drive account connected to Cloze and you will automatically see your Google Drive files in the Person, Company, or Project (Property or Deal) tab called Files.
- Cloze will automatically match by file name, folder name, or by a mention in the file’s content to Person, Company, or Property (or Deal) if the Google Drive document note includes:
- the First Name and Last Name of a person
- a Company name
- a Property or Deal name (Note: project or deal names must be two words or longer)
