How does Cloze help me to keep in touch with my contacts?
With everything in one place, Cloze figures out who is important to you and automatically keeps them top of mind. Cloze will also remind you to reach out to a contact and refresh a fading relationship.
All keep in touch reminders appear on your Cloze Pro Agenda screen.
Cloze has three types of keep in touch reminders that you will see on the Agenda screen:
- Automatic. Cloze will automatically surface people you haven't talked to recently that might still be important to keep in touch with.
- Recurring. Cloze reminds you when you haven't talked to a Customer or Prospect recently.
- Go to More → Settings → Keep In Touch to change how often you're reminded for Customers and Prospects.
- You can adjust your settings for all Segments (Customers, Partners etc..) in More → Settings → Customizations. More details are available here.
- Planned. You can schedule a reminder for any contact right from their profile. Go to the To Do tab and choose Add To Do to keep in touch.

Keep in touch Assists:
Cloze also automatically prompts you with suggested actions or “Assists” (as we call them) that make reaching out to your contacts easy using a pre-defined email template.
- Check-in - when Cloze prompts you to get back in touch with someone, use this template to reach out with just a couple of taps.
- Blast from the past - when Cloze reminds you about a contact that used to be important to you, but you have fallen out of touch with recently, use this template to rekindle your relationship.
When you see any of these prompts, tap on the reminder to see where you left off. You can also swipe to the right to snooze the reminder or reach out.
On iPhone and Android Phone:
You can reach out via contact profile on mobile too.
On Tablet and web (www.cloze.com), tap on the Action Item to open the Keep in Touch template:

a. Personalize the message as needed.
b. Select other templates to change the template.
1.) Tap on the More Options menu (...) and then select Settings.
Mobile:
- Tap on More in the lower right of your screen on mobile (iOS/Android).
- Select Settings.
On your computer:
- Tap on More in the lower left on your computer (cloze.com).
- Select Settings.
2.) Scroll down to the Assistant section and tap on Keep in Touch to expand the section.
Adjust these settings to fine tune how often Cloze automatically reminds you to keep in touch. Cloze will only remind you to get in touch if you have not had an interaction with each contact during the time period you set.
Use the sliders to adjust how often you are prompted to keep in touch. Tap on "With Other Types of People" to adjust your keep in touch settings for other Relationship Types.
You can also adjust the Keep in Touch settings in the Customizations section under People and Companies. Tap on the gear to adjust your Keep in Touch settings.
