How do I edit the Brand Header Building Block?
Note: The Marketing Email feature is included as part of the Cloze Business Platinum Plan.
Building Blocks are templates that you can embed in other templates. When you create a new marketing email you can use these Building Blocks to assemble your email templates saving you time and creating consistency between templates. Members of your team can also use these Building Blocks when creating their templates.
- Brand Header (see below)

- Legal Terms Footer
We recommend setting up the Brand Header, Brand Footer, and Legal Terms Footer Building Blocks for your team. It's easy and only takes a couple of minutes.
Below are instructions for editing the Brand Header Building Block.
Edit the Brand Header Building Block
1.) Navigate to the Template Library
Please note you may see the Library on the left-hand screen navigation. If not follow the instructions below to access the More menu and then select the Template Library.
- Tap on More in the lower left on your computer (cloze.com).
- Select Template Library.
2.) Tap on the funnel icon and select Marketing Email.
- Tap on the funnel icon.
- Select Marketing Email.
3.) In the Building Blocks section select the Brand Footer template.
- Tap on the Building Blocks section to expand it.
- Tap on the Building Blocks category to expand it.
- Select Brand Footer.
4.) Tap on Edit.
- Tap on Edit
- or Tap on the pencil icon
5.) Use the sidebar to make refinements.
- Template - Set edit controls for the theme.
- Add - Add section layouts, content blocks, or building blocks to a template.
- Theme - Adjust the theme's default layout, styles, and content.
Template
Set edit controls for the template. In general, we recommend you set this template to locked.
The settings you see here are from your Marketing Email Theme. Tap on Theme to adjust the default theme layout, styles, and content as needed.
For the Brand Header, we recommend keeping things simple. Usually, a logo, a divider, and perhaps a tag line or social buttons are sufficient.

Setup your Brand Header
Follow these steps to set up your brand header.
1.) Drag and drop to add a section layout or content block.
- In the right-hand section tap on the Add
- Drag and drop a layout (and/or)
- Drag and drop a content block
Alternatively to dragging and dropping content blocks, tap on the + icon and select the type of Content Block you wish to add.
- Tap on +
- Select a content block
There are many types of Content Blocks:
- Text Blocks
- 2-Column Text Blocks
- Images
- Buttons
- Social Buttons
- Dividers
- Spacers
Tip: This is a Building Block so it will be used by many templates to quickly add a brand header. Building Blocks are templates that you can embed in other templates.
