How do I edit the Legal Terms Footer Building Block?

Note: The Marketing Email feature is included as part of the Cloze Business Platinum Plan.

Building Blocks are templates that you can embed in other templates. When you create a new marketing email you can use these Building Blocks to assemble your email templates saving you time and creating consistency between templates. Members of your team can also use these Building Blocks when creating their templates.

By default, Cloze includes three Building Blocks:
You can create additional Building Blocks to make assembling future email templates easy. Any time you find yourself creating a section that will be useful in another email in the future we recommend creating a separate embeddable template to use as a Building Block

We recommend setting up the Brand Header, Brand Footer, and Legal Terms Footer Building Blocks for your team. It's easy and only takes a couple of minutes.

Below are instructions for editing the Legal Terms Footer Building Block.

Theme

The settings you see here are from your Marketing Email Theme. Tap on Theme to adjust the default theme layout, styles, and content as needed.

For the Legal Terms Footer, we recommend keeping things simple. Usually, your standard terms, copyright, and option to opt-out are sufficient.

Setup your Legal Terms Footer

Follow these steps to set up your brand footer.

1.) Tap on Add Section and select a layout.

2.) Tap on the + icon and select the type of Content Block you wish to add.

There are many types of Content Blocks:

  • Text Blocks
  • 2-Column Text Blocks
  • Images
  • Buttons
  • Social Buttons
  • Dividers
  • Spacers

When you create a new marketing email you can use these Building Blocks to assemble your email templates saving you time and creating consistency between templates. Members of your team can also use these Building Blocks when creating their templates.

3.) And then create your Legal Terms Footer Building Block by adding content as needed.
