How do I create a text template?
The Cloze Library provides a centralized location to manage all types of templates in one place. You can create several types of templates:
- Personal email
- Marketing email
- Call script
- Text message (see below)
- Campaign
- Article
- Snippet
Text message templates allow you to quickly reach out via text without the need to type the message from scratch.
Simply swipe or tap on the text template and Cloze will send the template over to your texting apps like iMessage, Google Messages, or WhatsApp. You can then personalize your text and send it. Please note: Texts sent from Cloze are text only; images will not be sent.
Tip: Use Next Steps and templates to ensure every lead, prospect, and client has a follow-up plan. Next Steps can have email, text, and call script templates to help you and your team speed through follow-up.
Create a text template from the Template Library
1.) Tap on More (...) in the lower right of your screen on mobile (iOS/Android) and lower left on cloze.com.
2.) Tap on Template Library.
3.) Tap on the new template icon to create a new template. Select Text Message from the menu.
4.) Create your template and then save it.
5.) Save your template.
Only Admins or other team members with the appropriate permission
If you are the Cloze Admin for your team (or have the appropriate permissions) you'll also have an option to save a template to a Staging Library or your team's shared Library. Members of your team with the appropriate role permission can access and review templates in the staging and team Library.
Published templates can be placed in three different types of Libraries:
- My Library - is your personal library (only you can see templates in this library)
- Your team library (Staging) - staging is only visible to people with permission to see it
- Your team library - visible to everyone on your team
Use your template from the Agenda or directly from the contact's profile.
When viewing a contact's profile, tap on the text message bubble and then select Text with a template.
Tap on the template you want to use. Your messenger will open. You can edit the message before sending.
